[Case Study] energyclubnz – Disrupting the Energy Sector While Lowering the Cost-to-Serve

energyclubnz (partly owned by Fairfax Media) is a new and disruptive New Zealand club that includes an electricity retailer as one of its services. Their goal is to disrupt the energy sector by focussing on benefitting their members via reducing consumption, reducing member costs and exploiting new technologies.

They choose for the Engage system that enables them to run the Club with a third of the people traditional energy companies would need to manage an equivalent base due to the high level of automation. 

Members of energyclubnz enjoy a whole new relationship with energy and are more in control of their usage. For example; Invoices to members happens within hours of receiving meter reads and payment receipted within 48 hours.
